Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters to us.

Healthcare runs on trust, and that includes how we handle your information. Whether you’re a doctor exploring a partnership, a clinic leader reaching out about a project, or someone applying to join our team, we want you to know what happens to your data and why.

This page explains what personal data we collect, why we use it, who can access it and the rights you have over it. If anything is unclear, you can contact us at any time.

01Updates to this Privacy Policy

As our services, technology and the laws we operate under change, we may update this Privacy Policy. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised. If a change significantly affects how we use your data, we'll make that clear on this page or contact you directly where appropriate.

02Who we are

SG Group is a healthcare growth and transformation company operating across Egypt, the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom. For the purposes of this policy, "SG Group", "we", "us" and "our" refer to SG Group, together with the SG Group entity in the country where you interact with us.

SG Group is responsible, as the "controller", for the personal data you share with us through sggroupglobal.com and our related services.

03What data do we collect?

Data you give us directly

  • When you contact us: your full name, email address, phone number, country, the type of inquiry you select and the details you include in your message.
  • When you apply for a role: your full name, email address, phone number, the role you're applying for, years of experience, LinkedIn profile, CV and cover message.
  • When you subscribe to our newsletter: your email address.
  • When you work with us as a client or partner: business contact details and any information you share in the course of a project, meeting or agreement.
  • When you attend our events: registration details for conferences and events we organize, such as your name, contact details, specialty and organization.

Data collected automatically

When you visit our website, we may collect technical information such as your IP address, device type, browser, the pages you visit and how you arrive at our site. Some of this is collected through cookies (see section 7).

Data from other sources

We may receive information from LinkedIn and other professional platforms when you apply for a role or engage with us there, from event partners, or from publicly available professional sources.

Health information

Our website is not designed to collect medical or health information. Please don't include personal medical details in contact forms. If a specific service needs health related information, we'll explain why before collecting it, ask for your explicit consent, and handle it with additional protection.

04Why do we use your personal data?

We use your personal data to:

  • respond to your inquiries and arrange consultations or meetings
  • deliver and manage the services, projects and events you've engaged us for
  • review job applications and manage our recruitment process
  • send our newsletter and updates about SG Group when you've chosen to receive them
  • manage partnerships, sponsorships and event participation
  • understand how visitors use our website so we can improve it
  • keep our website, systems and business secure
  • meet our legal, regulatory and accounting obligations

We process your data on one or more of these legal grounds: your consent, the need to take steps toward or perform a contract with you, our legitimate business interests (balanced against your rights), and compliance with the law.

We don't sell your personal data.

05Who can access your personal data and why?

We only share your personal data when it's necessary, and only with:

  • SG Group teams and entities in Egypt, the UAE and the UK, where they need it to respond to you or deliver our services
  • Trusted service providers who help us operate, including website hosting, email, analytics, CRM and recruitment tools, under agreements that require them to protect your data and use it only on our instructions
  • Event and project partners, where you've registered for an event or engaged in a project that involves them, and only to the extent needed
  • Professional advisers, such as lawyers, auditors and accountants
  • Public authorities and regulators, where we're required to by law or to protect our legal rights

06Transfer of your personal data

Because we operate across Egypt, the UAE and the UK, your personal data may be accessed or stored in a country other than the one you live in, and our service providers may store data in other countries too.

When we transfer personal data internationally, we take appropriate steps to keep it protected in line with applicable law, including using contractual safeguards where required.

07Cookies and similar technologies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to make it work properly, remember your preferences and understand how visitors use it. Some cookies are essential for the site to function. Others, such as analytics cookies, are only used with your consent where the law requires it.

You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the website work.

08What are your rights over your personal data?

Whenever we ask for personal data, we'll explain why we need it. If you choose not to provide certain information, we may not be able to respond to your request or offer a particular service.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • request access to the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy
  • ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • ask us to delete your data
  • object to or restrict how we use your data in certain situations
  • request that your data is transferred to another organization
  • withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent

Marketing communications: you can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time using the link in any email we send, or by contacting us.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at contact@sggroupglobal.com. We may need to confirm your identity before we respond.

You can make a complaint

If you have concerns about how we handle your personal data, please contact us first so we can try to resolve them. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority in your country:

  • Egypt: the Personal Data Protection Center
  • United Arab Emirates: the UAE Data Office
  • United Kingdom: the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk

09Data security and retention

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to keep your personal data secure, including limiting access to people who need it and using reputable, secure service providers.

We keep personal data only for as long as it's needed for the purpose we collected it, or as long as the law requires. For example, we keep inquiry details while we're in contact with you, and we keep job applications for 12 months after a recruitment decision unless you agree to us keeping them longer for future roles. When we no longer need your data, we delete or anonymize it securely.

10Children's privacy

Our website and services are intended for healthcare professionals, businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has shared personal data with us, please contact us and we'll delete it.
